Coming from the streets of Compton, Qui Dollaz has faced challenges that many would find overwhelming. Losing her father as a baby and growing up with a young mother who struggled to make ends meet, life was anything but easy. Despite these hardships, music became her outlet—first through journaling and poetry, and eventually through rap, where she found her true voice.
The turning point came in 2018, when Qui Dollaz faced an unimaginable tragedy—the loss of one of her children. This heartbreak rekindled her passion for music, transforming it into a powerful tool for healing. With encouragement from a close friend, Qui started writing again and soon adopted the stage name Qui Dollaz, a symbol of her drive and commitment to providing for her family.
In 2019, on her 25th birthday, she released her debut single, Lamborghini, which quickly gained local support in Lancaster, where she had also spent part of her life. This moment of recognition gave Qui the confidence to continue pursuing her music career, and she’s been on a steady rise ever since.
Now, Qui Dollaz is making waves in the hip-hop world, using her music to share her story of resilience and determination. She’s an emerging artist proving that no matter where you start, with passion and persistence, you can rise above.
