Reality TV star Jennifer Williams and her fiancé, Christian Gold, have encountered a significant obstacle just days before their highly anticipated wedding. Reports confirm that Gold was arrested and sentenced to 15 days in jail, a mere week before their scheduled nuptials.
Gold’s arrest occurred on Friday, Sept. 6, in Georgia’s DeKalb County, after he allegedly violated his probation. Despite the legal setback, the couple’s wedding, set for Sept. 14 in Paris, will go ahead as planned. The judge overseeing the case has granted Gold permission to attend the wedding. He is expected to serve two days in jail before being temporarily released to travel to Paris for the ceremony. Once the festivities are over, Gold will be required to return to Georgia and complete the remaining 13 days of his sentence.
Christian Gold’s probation stems from a false imprisonment conviction for which he served a 30-month sentence, completing it in 2018. However, recent actions led to his violation. A few months ago, Gold and Williams traveled abroad without notifying his probation officer. The couple’s trips to Switzerland and Italy were documented on social media, which eventually led to Gold’s probation breach. Additionally, Gold had an outstanding restitution payment of $12,500, which he resolved during his latest court appearance.
As of now, Jennifer Williams has remained silent regarding her fiancé’s arrest and sentencing.
