SyncNation Magazine is an independent digital publication covering music, entertainment, culture, independent artists, entrepreneurs, creators, and related topics.
Our goal is to provide informative, engaging, and responsible editorial coverage while supporting emerging voices and respecting the intellectual property rights of creators, photographers, artists, writers, agencies, and other rights holders.
Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions are made based on relevance, audience interest, newsworthiness, cultural significance, and the mission of SyncNation Magazine.
The publication of an artist, business, product, event, or individual does not constitute an endorsement unless expressly stated.
Accuracy and Corrections
SyncNation Magazine strives to publish accurate information based on sources reasonably believed to be reliable at the time of publication.
If we become aware of a material factual error, we may correct, update, clarify, or remove the information as appropriate.
Correction requests may be submitted through our published contact information.
Artist, Publicist and PR Submissions
SyncNation Magazine may receive press releases, photographs, artwork, music, videos, biographies, electronic press kits, promotional materials, and other content from artists, publicists, labels, managers, agencies, businesses, and other representatives.
Submission of material does not guarantee publication.
By voluntarily providing material to SyncNation Magazine for editorial or promotional consideration, the submitter represents that they own the material or have sufficient authorization to provide it for the intended use.
Submitters authorize SyncNation Magazine to use approved submitted materials in connection with relevant editorial coverage and reasonable promotion of that coverage, including on SyncNation Magazine’s website and social-media channels.
Images, Photography and Visual Media
SyncNation Magazine seeks to use visual material from sources reasonably believed to permit the intended use. These sources may include:
- Original SyncNation Magazine photography and graphics;
- Properly licensed stock or editorial imagery;
- Images supplied by artists, photographers, publicists, record labels, managers, agencies, brands, or authorized representatives;
- Official press and media materials where publication rights have been granted;
- Original illustrations and graphics created for SyncNation Magazine;
- Appropriately authorized or licensed third-party material; and
- Embedded media or other material used in accordance with applicable terms and law.
The fact that an image appears publicly on another website, search engine, social-media platform, news publication, or other online source does not necessarily mean that the image is free to reproduce.
Attribution or a photo credit identifies a source or creator but does not, by itself, establish that an image is free from copyright restrictions.
SyncNation Magazine seeks to provide appropriate photography and source credits when that information is available.
Submitted Image Rights
Anyone submitting photography, artwork, graphics, video, or other visual media to SyncNation Magazine represents that they own the material or possess sufficient rights and authorization to provide it for publication.
Submitters are responsible for providing accurate photographer, creator, agency, and rights-holder credits when applicable.
If a submitter provides material they are not authorized to provide, SyncNation Magazine reserves the right to remove the material and take appropriate action regarding future submissions.
Copyright Concerns
SyncNation Magazine respects intellectual property rights.
A photographer, creator, copyright owner, or authorized representative who believes copyrighted material appearing on SyncNationMag.com has been used without appropriate authorization may contact us in writing.
A copyright inquiry should include, when reasonably available:
- Identification of the copyrighted work;
- The URL of the SyncNation Magazine page containing the material;
- Identification of the material in question;
- The name of the copyright owner;
- Documentation or information showing ownership or authority to act for the rights holder;
- Contact information for the person submitting the request; and
- Any other information reasonably necessary for us to investigate the matter.
SyncNation Magazine will review legitimate copyright concerns and may remove or disable access to disputed material while a matter is investigated.
Removal of material does not necessarily constitute an admission of infringement or liability.
Sponsored and Promotional Content
Sponsored, paid, promotional, affiliate, or partner content may be identified when appropriate.
Payment for promotional services does not guarantee favorable editorial opinions unless the content is specifically identified as advertising or sponsored promotional material.
Opinions
Interviews, quotations, guest contributions, commentary, and statements attributed to third parties represent the views of their respective speakers or authors and do not necessarily represent the views of SyncNation Magazine.
Updates
SyncNation Magazine may update this Editorial Policy as its publishing practices, technology, services, or legal requirements change.
